PowerShell open source?

I read about

Pash = PoSH (PowerShell) + bash (one of the Unix shells)

today, its a open source reimplementation of powershell for mac, linux, solaris, window mobile, etc. Looks like this could be something that could great for scripters in heterogeneous environments.
