The web interface generates VMs using hardware version 7 while the VI uses hardware version 4.

If you create VMs with either they cannot be edited by the other.

Salmeen,

It sounds like your XP system has a memory leak of some kind, from what the error messages state, it sounds like something is eating up all your memory on the XP system that is why a reboot fixes it. Maybe add more ram to the system or if you have hard drive space you could increase the virtual memory of the system.
